2025 Camp Dates*: June 23 to July 31

*Camp starts after District 81 schools are released for the summer. Camp dates may change if there are snow days or make-up days at the end of the school year.

The SERA Basketball Camp for youth ages 5 - 14 is $300 and runs for 6 weeks.

We meet 9am to 12pm in Underhill Park Monday through Thursday starting the week after school is dismissed for the summer. Drop off starts at 8:45am and pick up starts at 11:30am when lunch is served. Children must be picked up by 11:59am.

There are a limited number of scholarships available to those who qualify. If you would like to apply for a scholarship click the button and fill out the form.

****Please note there is a mandatory parent and player orientation meeting June 14th at 10am at Jacob’s Well Church 3016 E 5th Ave.****

The camp offers breakfast, lunch, trained basketball coaches, and biweekly motivational speakers.

• Sheriff of Spokane County

• Mayor of Spokane

Our basketball camp seeks to fight the childhood obesity epidemic through building fundamental basketball skills, a love of exercise, a focus on health and fitness, discipline, and other life skills in the beautiful outdoor environment of Underhill Park.

Hey Spokane!! Coach Jessra ( better known as coach J) I'm excited to be a part of SERA for my 4th year. This year as Head Coach and Camp Director! I started playing basketball at the age of 6 and haven't stopped in 30 years!  I've played basketball on every level, middle school, AAU,high school varsity, Division 1 at the University of Missouri (Mizzou) and professionally in Lima Peru. Now that I'm retired from playing professionally I coach and train others of all ages all over the US. I look forward to being camp director this year with SERA and another opportunity to help the future hoopers of Spokane.

"Hi everyone, I'm Sydney! This is my third summer coaching for SERA, and I am so excited to be back! I love this program because the kids are always so eager to learn the game of basketball and are constantly having fun, and I feel I am making a difference in each of their lives. I also love coaching and not only improving the basketball skills of the kids but also building relationships and getting to know them. I learned to play basketball through a camp like this, and ever since then, the sport has been an important part of my life. I am so happy to be able to share my love of basketball with these kids!:)

Hello everyone, my name is Christian Miller. I am excited to say I am returning to the SERA basketball Association as an assistant coach for the third year in a row. I have had many years of coaching experience And with that, I have learned that even as a coach, there is still a lot that I can learn from my players. As a coach I value, hard-working dedication, and I will push every one of my players to try their best I’m excited to get to know everyone of my players.
